He created his body and placed the heart between the two parts of it, like a separator between two things. He placed in the upper part, which is the head, all the sensual and spiritual powers, and in the other half of the sensitive powers he placed only the sense of touch, so he perceives the rough, the soft, the hot, the cold, the wet, and the dry with his sensitive soul in terms of this special, circulating power. In all of his body and nothing else. As for the natural forces related to the management of the body, it is the attractive force, and with it the animal soul attracts what is for the good of the organ, such as the liver and the heart, and the holding force, and with it it holds what the attractive force has attracted to the organ until it takes from it what is beneficial. If you say, then if the purpose is benefit, then where does it come from? Illness affects the body, so know that illness is an increase in what it deserves in food or a deficiency in what it deserves. This force does not have a balance of merit, so if it attracts an excess of what the body needs or a deficiency from it, it is illness, for its reality is attraction, its reality is a balance, so if it takes it according to the correct weight, then that is for it by virtue. Agreement and from another force, not by virtue of intention, so that the one who has invented it knows his deficiency and that God does what He wants.
