God commanded some of His angels to bring him a handful of every kind of soil on earth, so they brought it to him in a long story known to people, so He, Glory be to Him, took it and its wine with His hands. It is His saying, “I did not create with My own hands.” And the truth was deposited with each of the angels we mentioned as a deposit for Adam, and He said to them, “Indeed, I am the Creator of human beings.” Of clay, and these deposits that are in your hands are his. If I created him, let each one of you give him what he has of what I have entrusted you with. Then, when I have shaped him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down in prostration to him. When the Almighty God brewed the clay of Adam with his hands until its smell changed while he was old, and that airy part that was in creation, He made his back a place. For the miserable and happy of his offspring, so I deposited in him what was in his fists, for God Almighty told us that in the grip of his right hand are the happy ones, and in the grip of the other hand are the miserable ones, and both of my Lord’s hands are a blessed right hand. And He said, “These are for heaven, and by the deeds of the people of Paradise they will work, and these are for Hell, and by the deeds of the people of Hell they will work.” And He deposited all of them with the clay of Adam, and the opposites were gathered in him by virtue of adjacency. And He created it to move straight, in the state of the spike, and He made it have six sides: the upper, which is what follows his head, the bottom, which is what follows his legs, the right, which is what is next to his stronger side, and the left, which is what follows his weakest side .
