subjugated, and that it must be brought by His word or by compulsion, so what was meant by the Almighty’s saying was, or by compulsion, and it came obediently by compulsion. So He made them seven heavens in two days, and revealed in each heaven its command.

[ Creation The earth and the determination of its sustenances ]

He had created the earth and ordained within it its sustenances for the sake of generators, so He made it a storehouse for their sustenances. We have mentioned the order of the creation of the world in the book of Uqlah al-Mustafuz, and from the determination of its sustenances was the presence of water, air, fire, and the vapors, clouds, and lightnings in that. And the thunders and the effects above, and that is the decree of the Mighty, the All-Knowing. He created the jinn from fire, the birds, the animals of the land and the sea, and the insects from the molds of the earth, in order to purify the air for us from the vapors of the molds, which if they mixed with the air in which God placed the life and well-being of this man and animal, he would have been sick, sick and crippled, so the atmosphere, Glory be to Him, cleared it for him out of His kindness by creating these. Rotten things, so I said sicknesses and illnesses.

And when the kingdom was established and prepared, none of these creatures knew of what kind this caliph would be. God paved the way for this kingdom for His existence, and when the time appointed in His knowledge arrived to find this caliph, after seventeen thousand years had passed in the life of this world and eight thousand years had passed in the life of the hereafter, which has no end in permanence.
