Necessity, for the partner is imagined for him in himself, in addition to the truth that is in himself, imagined, I mean from the knowledge of his existence, so what he left in himself alone, so Satan was a polytheist in himself without a doubt and no doubt, and he must preserve in himself the continuity of the image of the partner in order to provide the polytheists with it with breath, for he is afraid of them that The quality of polytheism will be removed from them, so they will unite with God and be happy. Satan still preserves the image of polytheism within himself and monitors with it the hearts of the polytheists who are present at the time, east, west, south, and north. With it, he will turn the monotheists in the future to polytheism from those who are not polytheists. Satan will not always refrain from polytheism, so God will make him wretched because he cannot imagine. Monotheism is one soul due to his adhering to this quality and his keenness to keep it in the soul of the polytheist, for if it were to disappear from his soul, the polytheist would not find anyone to speak polytheism to within himself, so polytheism would go away from him, and Satan would not imagine the partner because the image of the partner had disappeared from himself, so he would not know that that polytheist had ceased to associate him with him. This indicates that the partner always accompanies Satan, for he was the first to polytheize God, the first to enact polytheism, and he is the most wretched of the worlds. Therefore, he yearns for mercy from the very source of kindness, and that is why we said that the punishment is against Adam.
