Returns to the Righteous So I entered a ruined and isolated mosque to pray the noon prayer with my companion and I. Then a group of isolated tourists entered upon us wanting what we wanted from praying in that mosque. Among them was that man who spoke to me on the sea, whom I was told was Al-Khidr. Among them was a large man of greater status than him, and he was between me and that. The man had a meeting and affection before that, so I stood up and greeted him, and he greeted me and was happy with me. He came forward with us and prayed. When they finished praying, the imam came out and I went out behind him as he was going to the door of the mosque. The door was on the western side overlooking the sea surrounding a place called Bakkah, so I stood up and spoke to him at the door of the mosque, and behold, that man whom you said. It was Al-Khidr who took a small mat that was in the niche of the mosque and spread it in the air about seven cubits high from the ground. He stood on the mat in the air and moved. I said to my friend, “Aren’t you looking at this?” and what he did. He said to me, “Come to him and ask him.” So I left my friend standing and came to him. When he finished his prayer, I greeted him. And I chanted it to myself
