[ Ranks of Badals ] This imam is the one who taught his companions that there are seven men called the Badals, through whom God preserves the seven regions for every badal. A region and to them looks the spirituality of the seven heavens, and each one of them has a power [Page 155 of the Cairo edition] from the spirituality of the prophets who exist in these heavens, and they are Abraham Al-Khalil, followed by Moses, followed by Aaron, followed by Idris, followed by Joseph, followed by Jesus, followed by Adam, may God’s peace be upon them all. As for Yahya, he hesitated between Jesus and Aaron descends upon the hearts of these seven eternal beings, from the truths of these prophets, peace be upon them, and these seven stars look at them with what God Almighty has deposited in their glories and in their orbits, and with what God has deposited in the movements of these seven heavens of the secrets, sciences, and effects above and below. God Almighty said, “And He revealed in every heaven its command, so to them is Their hearts every hour and every day according to what the owner of that hour and the authority of that day gives. [ The fourth region and its substitute ] Every scientific matter is in On Sunday, from the material of Idris, peace be upon him, and every upper effect on that day will be in the element of air and fire, from the swimming and sight of the sun deposited by God Almighty, and whatever effect will be in the element of water and dust on that day, from the movement of the fourth sphere and the position of this person who is preserving it.
