(As for) the Alif, its nature is heat, humidity, dryness, and cold. It returns with the hot, hot, with the wet, wet, with the cold, cold, and with the dry, dry, according to the worlds adjacent to it. (And as for) the eight-rank, its letters are hot and dry. (And as for) the nine-rank, its nature is Ain and Ghain. Coldness and dryness (and as for the sīn and shīn, their nature is heat, and dryness (as for) the decimal level, its letters are hot and dry, except for the neglected ha and the lexicalized kha, for they are cold and dry, otherwise the ha and hamza, for they are cold and wet. So the number of spheres that result from their movement heat is created is two hundred spheres and three spheres, and the number of spheres that results from their movement. The dry land has two hundred spheres and forty-one spheres, and the number of spheres that result from its movement causes cold is sixty-five spheres, and the number of spheres that result from its movement creates humidity is twenty-seven spheres, with the combination and interference that is in it, according to what we mentioned above. Seven spheres result from the movement of the first four elements, and from them the letter Alif is found in particular. One hundred and ninety-six spheres whose movement produces heat and dryness in particular, and nothing else exists for them at all, and from these.
