God, God has hidden what He intended with this ruling in this verse, or he says, “I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, in my incident, so he informed me of the authenticity of this news narrated from him and of its ruling according to him.” Abu Yazid al-Bistami, may God be pleased with him, said in this matter and its authenticity, he addresses the graphic scholars. “You took your knowledge dead from a dead person.” And we took our knowledge from the living that does not die. People like us say, “My heart told me about my Lord,” and you say, “So-and-so told me about my Lord,” and they said, “So-and-so told me about him, and where is he?” They said, “He died about so-and-so, and where is he?” They said, “He died.” And Sheikh Abu Madin, may God have mercy on him, used to say, “So-and-so said about so-and-so, about so-and-so, about so-and-so.” He would say, “What we want to eat is old. Bring me meat.” A tender one that raises the spirits of his companions. This is the saying of so-and-so. Anything you said about what God has bestowed upon you from His gifts from His earthly knowledge. That is, narrate from your Lord and leave so-and-so and so-and-so, for those ate fresh meat from him, and the donor did not die, and he is closer to you than your jugular vein.
