That light, and if it were not for the souls of the lights that are upon it, the viewing would not be valid, since witnesses cannot exist except by the combination of the two lights. And whoever has a share in the light, how can he be miserable in eternal misery, when the light is not from the world of misery, and there is no soul that does not have it? A light with which to reveal what she did, and whatever good she was pleased with, and whatever evil there was, she wishes that there were a long period of time between her and him, and that is why he concluded the verse by saying, “And God is Most Compassionate to His servants, as He has given them lights by which they can realize themselves.”
