The existing English text
The online English translation is largely semi-automatic and awaits editorial revision. The revised interface preserves the existing translation records. A readable sentence should not be taken as evidence that every technical term or source reference has been checked.
Source references
English records are matched to Arabic pages by their printed volume and page fields. Translation record numbers and Arabic source-page numbers can differ. Where no matching English record is found, the site offers the Arabic source and a search of the available English text.
Konya and printed editions
The Konya-aligned digital text is Arabic and its page alignment is approximate. Consult the manuscript image before making a claim about a specific manuscript reading. The Cairo / Maymaniya edition supplies the printed reference used for English links.
Guides and selected passages
The reading guides, concept introductions, and selected-passage pages are editorial aids. They are not additional translations of Ibn al-Arabi’s words unless a text is explicitly presented and attributed as a translation. Follow their chapter links to read the primary context.
Terminology and quotation
Keep the Arabic term where a single English equivalent would obscure the argument. For a quotation, record the edition, printed volume and page, translator or translation status, and the date of consultation. Check the Arabic source before using a passage in scholarship.
