He took off heat from the hot body and covered it with cold, so it became cold, but the essence of heat was transformed into coldness, and the cold body itself was what was hot, so the objects were not transformed. Likewise, the story of the Knower of the essence who accepted the form of gold when struck was the one who had accepted the form of the stone, and the essence is the essence itself, so the stone is no longer gold nor Gold is returned to stone, just as the primordial essence accepted the form of water, so it was said that it is water without a doubt. So if you put it in a pot and boil it over the fire until it gives rise to vapor, then you know for certain that the form of water has disappeared from it and it has accepted the form of vapor, so it began to seek to ascend to its greater element. How great it was when the form of water arose in it, seeking its element. The greatest and He takes the lowest. This is the meaning of the saying of the All-Knowing in this verse concerning the saints and the significance adjacent to the knowledge of the miracle that the notables
