And the infallibility of the one who makes his kingdom a servant of his religion will be subservient to him by every authority, and whoever makes his religion the servant of his kingdom, every person covets him. Six hundred and he was trustworthy. He said: Abu Jaafar bin al-Qass told us. He said: Yusuf Ibn Abi al-Qasim al-Diyar Bakri told us Jamal al-Islam Abu al-Hasan Ali bin Ahmad al-Qurashi al-Hakkari told us Abu al-Hasan al-Karkhi told us Abu al-Abbas Ahmed bin Muhammad bin al-Fadl al-Nahawandi told us he said: I heard my sheikh Jaafar bin Muhammad al-Khaldi say: I was With al-Junayd, may God have mercy on him, on the road to the Hijaz until we reached Mount Sinai, then al-Junayd ascended it and we ascended with him.

Uhud gave an answer, so when we waited for hearing and they were al-Junayd to go down, we told him that this monk called us and swore to us, and we did not respond to him. One of you is the oldest of you, so they pointed to Al-Junayd and he said, Tell me about this that you did. It is specific in your religion or general. He said: No, it is specific. The monk said, It is for specific peoples or general peoples. He said, But for specific peoples. He said, With what intention do they rise? He said with the intention of hope and joy in God Almighty. The Almighty said, With what intention do you shout? He said with the intention of answering the servitude of God Almighty. When God Almighty said to the spirits, Is it not your Lord? They said, Yes. He said, So what is this voice? He said, An eternal call. He said, With what intention do you sit? He said with the intention Fear of God Almighty. He said: You have spoken the truth. Then the monk said to Junayd, Stretch out your hand. I bear witness that there is no god but God, alone, without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad, may God s prayers and peace be upon him, his servant and his messenger, and the monk embraced Islam and made his Islam good. The Messiah, son of Mary, the special people of the nation of Muhammad, may God s prayers and peace be upon him, wear rags, eat crumbs, are content with eloquence, and rise in serenity of their times in God, they rejoice and to Him they long for, and in Him they are present, and to Him they desire and from whom they fear, so the monk stayed with us for three days on Islam, then he died, may God have mercy on him.

(commandments) in saying

I heard Muhammad ibn Qasim ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Abd al-Karim al-Tamimi al-Fassi in the city of Fez al-Adl, I think in the year ninety-four year five hundred, saying that four kings spoke with four words as if I had thrown about one bow. If you speak a word It owned me even if I owned it, and Caesar, the king of the Romans, said, I do not regret what I did not say.

For your age, there is nothing that you know of *** is more deserving of imprisonment than a spoiled tongue

I have something in you that does not concern you to say *** with a strong lock wherever I was locked up

And Aisha, the Mother of the Believers, may God be pleased with her, said, Through honorable matters, ten are in the man and not in his son, and in the servant and not in his master, the truth of speech, truthfulness of people, giving to the questioner, rewarding craftsmanship, complaining to the neighbor, observing the rights of the friend, the ties of kinship, the guest s villages, the performance of the trust, and modesty tops them. Some of them said, Keeping your secret will follow you. Safety and disclosing your secret will be followed by regret, and patience in keeping a secret is easier than regretting disclosing it in wisdom.
