Chapter: | On knowing the station of respecting Sheikhs and preserving their hearts. |
Page 364 - from Volume Two (Display Image)The longing for the connection goes away *** and the longing for the connection is gone The imagination of separation perpetuates it *** when meeting, it may be spoiled Whoever said easy is difficult, we said to him *** What is difficult in existence is easy? It is one of the characteristics of love and not from anything else *** and love is a disease in the hearts buried What is the ruling on this epithet except here *** and there it goes and makes clear Some lovers say I weep if they come away from longing for them *** and weep if they approach the fear of parting [ Longing is a movement that the lover finds when he meets his beloved with joy in him ]Longing is calmed by the encounter, for it is the heart s flight to the absent, so if it comes to rest, and longing is a movement that the lover finds when meeting his beloved with joy, he cannot reach the goal of finding him in him. Drink, get thirsty He, peace be upon him, said, The two are insatiable, a seeker of knowledge and a seeker of this world. In terms of what is loving in the attainment of each of them, and knowledge has no end to it, so it is not satiated, and so is the world, for it is the desire of souls and the desire for it. Its duration does not end, and if it were not for lust, Paradise would not be pleasant, for longing did not cease, and longing did not remain. We have this chapter. The life of one who has tasted passion is not smooth without meeting the one who loves him If he sees him, he muzzles him *** that is the meaning that worries him And the meaning of his ruling is different *** for those who know what he called it [ It is related to longing, not to the present, but to the absent, unattested at the moment .]And since love is related only to the non-existent, as we have presented in the chapter on love, so longing is not correct to be related to the present, but to the absent, unattested at the moment. With love, not with longing, and There has been a piece of news that I do not know is true. God Almighty mentioned those who yearn for Him, and He said about Himself that He yearns for them the most As befits His Majesty, His longing for them to find comfort by meeting those they longed for, and the appointed time that does not change has not arrived, so there must be a delay in the existence of what the divine longing for this occurred, if the news is true, and I have no knowledge of it, neither from disclosure nor from a true narration, except that it is mentioned well-known and has been characterized Paradise is longing for Ali, Salman, Ammar and Bilal, and people talked about that in terms of deriving the names of these from elevation, safety, urbanization and steadfastness. For these four, as well as the Prophet, may God s prayers and peace be upon him, I have seen him many times and asked him about things and it did not occur to me to ask him. About the longing of Paradise for these, rather I was occupied with what was more important to me than it, and longing is a knowledge of taste that every longing person knows ( Chapter One Hundred and Eighty-One on Knowing the Position of Respecting the Elders )The sanctity of the sheikh is nothing but the sanctity of God *** Do it as a discipline for God by God They are the guides and the relatives who support them *** on the evidence in support of God The inheritors are for the Messengers, all of them *** Their talk is only from God Like the prophets, you see them in their battles *** They ask nothing of God but God If it appears from them that they have turned away from the Sharia, then leave them with God Do not follow them and do not follow them *** for they are God's free in God Do not follow the example of the one whose law has been removed from him, even if he brings news from God And when we saw in this time the ignorance of the disciples about the ranks of their sheikhs, we said about that |
