Page 547 - from Volume Three (Display Image)![]() So the mind knows what the sight does not witness, and the eye witnesses what the thought aims at So the gnostics combined reason and sight, so they have hearts with which they understand, and they have eyes with which they see, and they have ears with which they hear. They know, but they do not bear witness, and the people of God know and bear witness. Therefore, if he addresses them, they hear, obey, and testify to themselves, as a place for what God creates in them, which he judges to be in opposition and in agreement, so he is obedient, prepared to accept what is formed in him, like the womb of a woman, prepared for what is formed in it is not impossible. The world is merciful to the believers, for the Lord is his time, and the praised is his time, the Lord, because the judgment for each one is not established by what he was judged by except with the other. It is only by looking into the eyes of each one and not for his judgment. If you move to the consideration of the ruling that is dependent on the world with it and on the truth in the world, it is correct that the ruling from each one is for a period of time for the other as the hosts. When the paternity is valid for Zaid over Amr. Amr and Zaman are the sons of Omar and the paternity of Zaid, so the father is in his time the son and the son is in the time of the father |
