It is called torment that which causes pain, good news from God to His servants that what you are suffering must, if mercy extends to you, be tormented while you are in the fire, just as the one who is being burned is tormented by the heat of fire and the one who is burned by the cold of frost, and for this reason Hell has combined fire and frost due to the difference in temperament, so what pain is caused by a specific temperament in which it occurs. Bliss is in another mood that opposes it, so wisdom is not hindered, and God keeps the heat for the people of Hell on those who are freed and Hell on those who are cast down, so they enjoy in Hell, so they are in a mood that if they enter Paradise with it, they will be tortured by it because of its moderation.

Then know that patience varies according to the variety of tools. Patience is with God when he is harmed, patience is with God when he sees the tortured person in torment, patience is with God when he loses his Lord in the presence of his soul not coupled with the presence of his Lord, patience in God is that the truth be the same as his patience as his hearing and sight are, and patience with God is the condition. He has removed power and strength from you, so do not say, “There is no power nor strength except with God,” for it will be removed by seeking help and patience from God, and it is the greatest of them in status, and it is patience that disappears with death and is not found in the afterlife. The one who possesses this patience is attributed patience to him, as the name “patient” is attributed to God, and that is why he is elevated by the disappearance of this world and in the servant by his disappearance from this world. Likewise, Solomon, peace be upon him, said: “I loved the love of goodness rather than the remembrance of my Lord, because He called it good, and goodness is attributed to God.” He said, “I loved the remembrance of my Lord with goodness,” and he began to rub his hand on its tops and stems, joyful and admiring of the goodness of his Lord, for he loved the love of goodness, and the love of goodness either wanted God’s love for him. Or the love of goodness in terms of describing goodness as love, and goodness is only loved by good people, for they are the subject of his essence. Likewise, Solomon, peace be upon him, said, “I loved the love of goodness,” that is, I am in my love as goodness is in his love. That is why when she was hidden in the veil, I mean the horses that were in good standing, he longed for her because he lost the place that required him this pleasurable quality. It was a place of refuge for him, so he said, “Return it to me .”

As for the commentators who made the disappearance of the sun, there is no mention of the sun here, nor of the prayer that they claim. Moreover, they take the stories of the Jews in interpreting the Qur’an, and the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, commanded us not to believe the People of the Book and not to deny them.

Whoever interprets the Qur’an according to the narration of the Jews has rejected the command of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and whoever rejects the command of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, has rejected the command of God. He commanded us to obey the Messenger and to take what he brought us and to refrain from what he forbade us, since it does not lead us to the news of these Israeli prophets. As for their dissatisfaction with what they interpreted as his saying, “We tried Solomon,” that is not that trial. It is the test if it is related to horses, and his test must be if he sees her, does he love her because of my remembrance of her, or does he love her for her eyes?

Then he told the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, that he loved her because of my remembrance of her. His Lord mentioned her, not herself, despite her beauty, her beauty, and his need for her. She is part of the king who requested that no one should do so after him, so the truth answered him to what he asked in total and lifted the embarrassment from him.

And He said to him: This is our gift, so believe or withhold without reckoning. He has it when we mean in the Hereafter, and it is good for me, that is, what this king lacks from the king of the Hereafter, as he does with others, as he lacks the bliss of the Hereafter according to the extent of what you enjoy in this worl

Patience on behalf of God, according to this interpretation, is the greatest type of patience. As for patience on behalf of God, as the common people imagine it to be patience on behalf of such-and-such, because of his separation from Him, that is not the business of the people of God, and Al-Shibli, when he fainted when the young man’s saying, “Patience on behalf of God is the greatest.” Patience made him faint because of the greatness of the position that is not Only the most perfect of men can reach him. When it became clear to Al-Shabli from the young man’s words, his incoming was stronger than Al-Shibli’s place, so the trance affected him. Likewise, every incoming that is stronger than the power of the place, it causes fainting and stupor, and the people of God have no precedence in patience with God over the interpretation of the common people.

Patience has degrees of three hundred and twenty-three degrees among the knowledgeable among the People of Light, and among the People of Secrets there are two hundred and ninety-three degrees, and among the People of Lights there are two hundred and ninety-two degrees of blame, and among the People of Secrets there are two hundred and sixty-two degrees.
