Or the love of goodness in terms of describing goodness as love, and goodness is only loved by good people, for they are the subject of his essence. Likewise, Solomon, peace be upon him, said, “I loved the love of goodness,” that is, I am in my love as goodness is in his love. That is why when she was hidden in the veil, I mean the horses that were in good standing, he longed for her because he lost the place that required him this pleasurable quality. It was a place of refuge for him, so he said, “Return it to me .”
