So we say that the world of the unseen is perceived by the eye of insight, just as the world of witness is perceived by the eye of sight, and just as sight does not perceive the world of witness except darkness, unless the veil of oppression or similar obstacles is lifted from it. Then the obstacles are lifted and the lights are spread over the tangible things and the light of sight and the visible light are combined. The one who sees with sight perceives visible things. Likewise, the eye of insight veils thoughts, desires, and the observation of others from the dense natural world to such veils as these prevent him from perceiving the kingdom, I mean, the world of the unseen. So if a person turns to the mirror of his heart and purifies it with remembrance and recitation of the Qur’an, then he obtains from that light, and God has a light spread over all existing things. It is that the light that extends from the Presence of Being over the world of the unseen in the existential presences does not encompass them all, nor does it extend over them regarding this Revealer except to the extent of what God Almighty desires, and that is the station of revelation. Our evidence of that for ourselves is our taste of it and for others, His saying, “Say.. I do not know what will be done to me or to you, if I follow except what is revealed to me with the utmost purity of Muhammad, which is his saying, or from behind a veil. No matter how much of that appears from someone who has happened in this situation on its surface against a person, that is prudence, which is the highest level of openness and its place. From the Book of God, verily, in that there are signs for those who are distinguished by the characteristic, which is the sign, as we said, and one should never make a mistake, unlike wise reasoning.

And then another revelation in physiognomy, and that is that God placed in the world the presence of attributes, in which there are images of the sons of Adam and their conditions in their times until their separation, and it is hidden from all of the upper and lower creatures except from the pen and the tablet.
