Protection, so fasting took its place in prevention, and there is nothing like it. Fasting is one of the acts of worship that has no equal, and it is not said about fasting that there is nothing like it, for something is an established or existential matter, and fasting is abandonment, so it is reasonable, nihilistic, and a negative description, so it has no equal. There is nothing like him. This is the difference between describing the truth in denying homosexuality and describing fasting with it.

Then the legislator forbade the fasting person, and he forbade abandoning and calling a negative person, so he said, “Do not speak obscenity or talk nonsense,” so he did not command him to do something. Rather, he forbade him to be characterized by an action, and fasting was abandonment, so the connection between fasting and what the fasting person forbade was valid. Then he commanded him to say to whoever insulted him or fought him, “I am fasting,” that is, abandoning this. The work that you did, O fighter and one who insulted me, on my side, so he distanced himself from the command of his Lord from this work, so he is known to have abandoned it, that is, he does not have the quality of cursing or fighting whoever insults him and fights him .

I was with Musa bin Muhammad Al-Qabab in the minaret in the Sanctuary of Mecca at Bab Al-Hazura, and he was giving the call to prayer, and he had food whose smell was offended by anyone who smelled it. I heard in the prophetic report that angels are harmed by what the sons of Adam are harmed by, and that it is forbidden to approach mosques with the smell of garlic, onions, and leeks. So I went to sleep determined to tell that man to remove that food from the mosque for the sake of the angels, and I saw the Almighty’s truth in sleep, and the Almighty said to me, “Do not tell him about the food, for its smell to us is not the same as it is to you.” When morning came, as was his custom, he came to us, and I informed him of what had happened, so he cried and prostrated to God. Thank you, then he said to me, Sir, despite this, good manners according to Sharia law are better, so he removed him from the mosque, may God have mercy on him .

Since unpleasant, harmful odors are repelled by the healthy natural temperaments of humans and angels due to the harm they feel due to the lack of appropriateness, the truth regarding harmful odors is only perceived by God, especially the one who has the disposition to accept it, whether the animal or the human being who has the temperament of that animal, and for this reason there is no angel.
