Sharia scholars differed regarding rinsing the mouth and nose in ablution. Some say that it is obligatory and some say that it is not obligatory. What we go to in this matter is that when ablution included ablution, its ruling was based on the fact that he performed ablution in his ablution, not in the sense that he performed ablution, for that is what was reported. The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, did not rinse his mouth or inhale his mouth during his ablution except when performing ablution in it, and I have not seen anyone point out something like this in their disagreement regarding that. In my opinion, the ruling on it refers to the ruling on ablution, and ablution with us is necessary in the ablution of ritual impurity. We have considered this issue in two cases. The one case is that one who has intercourse but does not ejaculate must perform two ablutions during his ablution, and if he has intercourse and ejaculates then he must perform one ablution
