If we grieve at the place of pride *** then we are like a vessel for it

No one else saw what we witnessed *** so we were from it The eye of pride

And when we were the eye of the pride of truth on his face and the veil bears witness to the one who is veiled, then prove that we see him just as we have encompassed it, so Al-Ash’ari spoke the truth and his saying “You will see your Lord” was true

Just as he believed, “You will not see me.” The robe has an outside and an inside, so the robe sees it with its inside, and it is true.

You will see your Lord.

And the one who is fixed in vision believes, but the outside of the robe does not see him, so the Mu’tazili believes, and he believes. You will not see me while t
