This is the limit of the quorum for all of the things on which zakat is due, and there is no need to enumerate it in the apparent lawful ruling in those categories, because what is intended is consideration and it has become clear, so we have contented ourselves with that in detailing it. Considering the time of zakat has already been considered, and what remains for us is the consideration of whoever pays zakat before its time, for some people They were prohibited from doing so, and I say so, and some of them permitted it.

Purifying the place of the thought before it occurs by preparing for it while knowing what comes to him in terms of the revelation that it is. If it is interrupted by its presence and it is necessary, it is not permissible for it is due to the first purity, and if it occurs, it is necessary to purify it because it occurs without a doubt, so things do not exceed their times. The ruling is for the time, and whoever gives it before the time has violated the ruling for the time.

They are the eight whom God mentioned in the Qur’an: the poor, the needy, those who work for it, those whose hearts are reconciled, the freed, the debtors, the mujahideen, and the wayfarer.

Considering them

The aforementioned organs pay zakat from their actions and respond to their actions. The zakat is divided into the actions of these organs, and on their specific parts the zakat is divided. So whoever purifies his sight by himself, he gives the zakat to his sight and returns to seeing in his Lord after he used to see by himself. Likewise, whoever purifies his hearing by himself, he gives the zakat to his hearing and begins to hear by his Lord, which is His saying, “I was his hearing and his sight. ”

In specifying the eight categories

upon whom zakat is divided based on consideration, among them are the poor. God Almighty said: “Alms are only for the poor and the needy, and those who work for them, and those whose hearts are reconciled, and for the freeing of slaves and debtors, and in the path of God, and for the wayfarer, an obligation from God,” he says, “ordained by God for those mentioned.” It is not permissible to give to Other than them, there is disagreement regarding giving it to one type .

What I am referring to is that whoever is found among these types, the charity is divided among them according to what is found among them, but among the types, not among the individuals, and if there is no one of them except one person, the portion of that type is given to him, and if there is more than one person of the type, it is divided among those present. Of it, whatever is specified for that type, whether few or many people, and likewise the one who works on it, divides it in that country according to what types are found, and if he finds all, then each classifies the price of the charity into seven, one-sixth, five, one-quarter, one-third, and one-half, and for each .

Some of our sheikhs told me his story about this. He said: A man from the people of Kairouan wanted to perform Hajj. He kept hesitating whether to walk by sea or on land, but one of them was not the most likely option for him. He said, “Ask the first man he met.” As he said to me, “I took that path.” He said, “The first person he met was a Jew, so he went to the pilgrimage.” His command was: Should I ask him? So he decided to ask him, so he consulted him, and he said to him: O Muslim, does not God say, “He is the one who makes you go on land and sea ?” So he put forward the land, so he presented what God has provided, and this is the way. We begin with what God began with, and we advance what God has provided, for whoever adheres to that will see good in his movements.< / p

( Considering the poor )

To whom it is obligatory to give charity, not that he is obliged to take it from the people of the path except from us, for it is obligatory for him to take it if you give it to him, and he does not ask for it at all, and if he achieves servitude, he is of the highest rank in it, and it comes to him, then he takes it, for the zakat, even if it is for these categories, is the right of God in this matter. Money and the servant has the right to eat from his master’s money, for it is his right, but it was forbidden to the members of the household specifically for this addition, whether they achieved servitude or not. If that was to verify servitude, it would not have been forbidden except for the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and whoever was at the forefront of the matter and was not like that, so the people of God have the right to dispose of it. [ The poor is the one who lacks everything ]

Then we return and say that the poor person in our view, who does not have a level of poverty behind him, is the one who lacks everything and is lacking in nothing. Until now, I have not seen anyone achieve this characteristic. God Almighty says out of divine jealousy. O people, you are the ones who are poor before God. He used himself in this verse for everything that he lacks, and God is the Rich, the Praiseworthy. No poor person lacks except God, whether this person knows it or not, for the divine poor sees the truth in the eyes of everything, and he is immersed in his servitude and immersed when he sees God .
