For knowledge is fixed and the state is fleeting, and if it were not for the distinction that is in the eye of piety, piety would not have produced a distinction, for a thing does not produce anything except its like, and nothing exists except that, and for this is the world. In the image of truth, whoever is dominated by his nature, his resemblance to his mother is stronger than his resemblance to his father, and whoever is dominated by his mind, his resemblance to his father is stronger than his resemblance to his mother, because the world is between nature and truth and between existence and nothingness, so it is neither pure existence nor pure non-existence. The whole world is magic that makes you imagine that it is truth and not truth and it is an illusion. To you, it is a creation and not a creation, since it is not a creation in every respe
