God Almighty said, “God bears witness that there is no god but Him and the angels and those possessed of knowledge,” and He has no likeness. If He had a likeness, it would not be valid to deny it, for He only denied the rank. He did not deny the similarity of the essence. And He did not specify differentiation in proverbs except the ranks. If they were removed, the differentiation would cease from itself. He accepts forms, and from his rank he does not accept proverbs. That is why he called him a caliph and caliphs because they are successors and representatives. They are not in it by virtue of entitlement, I mean entitlement to permanence, but they have the entitlement to accept representation and caliphate. They are borrowed in rank, and it belongs to God, so it passes away from them and their essence does not disappear.
