And that he does not doubt it and he does not know that this is one of the manifestations of one of his possibilities, and if he is absent from that which is present, the possibilities are equally present with him, and that is not likely for him except by way of conjecture, not by knowledge. So look, my brother, what hides the secrets of the soul, and how great is the veil of ignorance despite its being non-existence, so what about us? If it exists, then praise and grace belong to God. We only alerted you to this so that you may know your share of faith and your status.

The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, says in the authentic hadith about him: The adulterer does not commit adultery when he commits adultery while he is a believer.

That is, He confirms the punishment for him, for God Almighty may forgive, and if faith does not give the revelation that knowledge gives, then it is not faith.

Know that knowledge gives action behind a thin veil. In another hadith on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, regarding the adulterer, if he commits adultery, faith departs from him until it becomes like a shadow over him.

We have a good interpretation of it, which is that the adulterer has been exposed to affliction. From God descends on him, and faith comes out until it becomes over him like a canopy, preventing that affliction from descending on him if it descends. Do not neglect, O my guardian, this fate that I have warned you about. Do you not see that God Almighty did not establish verses and multiply them except to obtain knowledge through them, because He knows that if knowledge is acquired, action is necessary. Do you not see? To the one who drinks the medicine, and he does what he drinks and swallows its bitterness except because he knows that there is a medicine that removes this ailment that he suffers from, and he says
