From among his subjects, he isolated himself by his action and was thrown into disrepair, and he was left with questions from God, calamity, and disappointment. He lost leadership and sovereignty, and God deprived him of the best of it, and he regretted it, since remorse did not benefit him. If he had not asked about it and left alone, some thing would have happened except the truth, for it does not detract from him. His ownership is something. If his servant dies from this worldly life, it is transferred to him in the barzakh, so God’s rule of sovereignty remains over him. Unlike a person, if his servant dies, his sovereignty by which he was master over him dies. This is the difference between us and the truth in lordship.
