Since honesty requires resemblance, even if it is praiseworthy, the men of God refused to be characterized by it despite its rule over them and the appearance of its effect on them, except that it is not witnessed by them. Then they looked at it in terms of it being a divine attribute, and they did not find an eye for it there, and they saw that the attachment of divine honesty is only in what He promised, not in it. Everything that was promised, and one of the conditions of the divine attribute is not to be restricted in what is related to it, so they knew that it was an additional attribute due to its specificity to some of its related things, so when they saw it in this way, they were obliged to abandon its observation, for they are like looking at a non-existent matter that does not exist .
