Qatada said: No one has done justice to the world. It is condemned for the wrongdoing of the wrongdoer in it and not praised for the goodness of the doer of good in it. If it in and of itself gave ugliness and evil, it would not be possible for there to be a sent prophet or a righteous servant in it. How can it be, when God has described it as obedience, so He said, “The highest and the lowest of it said, ‘We come willingly,’” and He said, The land is inherited by My righteous servants, and the righteous inherit only righteous money which he is permitted to dispose of, for he is a righteous servant. He did not say that all servants inherit it, so this indicates that if I left it, it was a righteous gain, so the righteous servants of God inherited it.
