As for his choosing from the spheres the Throne, because He has encompassment of all bodies, and God encompasses everything, and He has primacy in the spheres, and whatever is below them is the first to encompass, so He chose it for equality of what is between the two attributes. If the Throne is the King, then it is more likely that He is without choice, because there is nothing but God and His kingdom. Everything other than Him belongs to Him, and it has been stated that He is distinguished from other things, so it must be chosen for priority and encompassing, because the heavens and the earth in the interior of the Throne are like a ring in an expanse, and the Throne in the interior of the Throne is like a ring in an expanse.
