And this is an issue about which people differed. I mean in this report, in transmitting it according to the meaning, and what is correct in my opinion is that this is not permissible in one sentence unless the transmitter clarifies that he transmitted according to the meaning, for the transmitter according to the meaning is conveying to us his understanding of the words of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and what we worship. God makes others understand us, except with a condition in the narrations by agreement and in the Qur’an, unlike in the case of a non-Arab who does not understand the Arabic language. This conveyor of the meaning may be that if he conveyed to us the exact words of his words, may God bless him and grant him peace, we might have understood the same as what he understood, or more or less, or the opposite of what he understood, so it is better to transmit the hadith.
