The glorification of God and they attributed that to God, so the angels praised them. Despite this situation, they did not offend the angels and behaved with them, as they were not subjected to criticism for what they did against their father Adam, peace be upon him, and they apologized to the angels for preferring the side of truth and infecting them with knowledge, for what they said occurred with the children of Adam. There is no doubt about corruption and bloodshed, and this is a well-known secret. As for the praise of the prophets and messengers, peace be upon them, it is because they surrendered to them what they claimed to be theirs of prophecy and the message, and they believed in them, and they did not stop being as they were. Parts of prophecy were characterized by it, but despite this, they were not characterized by prophets or messengers, and they were sincere in following them.
