So conclusive rational evidence was established that He is one God according to the people of theorizing and the people of revelation, there is no god but Him. Then after this rational evidence of His monotheism and the necessary rational knowledge of His existence, we saw that the people of the path of God Almighty, from the Messenger, the Prophet, and the saint, had brought matters of knowledge regarding the attributes of God on their way to referring them. The rational evidence was confirmed by the prophetic words and the divine news, so the people of the path searched for these meanings in order to obtain from them something that distinguishes them from the theoreticians who stopped where their thoughts reached them while verifying the truthfulness of the news, so they said, “We know that there is another phase behind the phase of understanding the mind that is independent of it, and it is for the prophets and the great saints.” Through it, they accept these matters entrusted

So this group worked to gain something of what was reported in the divine news from the side of the truth, and they began to refine their hearts with remembrances and recitation of the Qur’an, clearing the place of looking at what is possible, being present, and observing, while purifying the apparent by staying within the legitimate limits of lowering one’s gaze from the matters that it is forbidden to look at.
