Moses said, “How quickly you have been afflicted with it.” Then he extended his hand to cut off a piece from his thigh for the raptor, to protect them and to preserve what he had entrusted to him regarding them. So he said to him, “O son of Imran, I am the messenger of your Lord. He has sent me to you to see the validity of what he entrusted to you.”
