He turned to them in the sign by which they knew him, saying to him, “You are our Lord,” and he was the one they denied and sought refuge from, and he is the one they acknowledged and confessed. So what is this veil that happened to them with the witnesses? Is it an existential matter or a nihilistic ruling? He is witnessed, veiled, and there is no existential veil and no ruling of nihilism. In what exists, see what has hidden this. There is no reality in the world in this world except this in all matters, and people are heedless of it. Just as I believe that the angel is with us and the devil is with us, and the tangible veils do not exist with us and our eyes are watching. And yet we do not perceive the angel or the jinn, and he sees us and his tribe from nowhere. We see him and his tribe seeing us as eye witnesses, and we see him as faith, not eyes. So what is this veil between us? If it were between us, it would have shielded them from us just as it shields us from them. So it
