He looks and follows his teacher. As for the one who has divine revelation, he follows his teacher, especially in divine knowledge, which he does not know in reality except through His information. It is difficult for him to gain knowledge through divine information, so how about intellectual consideration. Therefore, the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, forbade contemplating the essence of God, while people neglected it. This much, none of them was safe from contemplating it and judging it from the standpoint of thought, and Abu Hamid Al-Ghazali did not have a calamity greater than this, praise be to God, for he spoke about the essence of God from the standpoint of intellectual consideration of those who are afflicted by him, not his family, and others, and for this reason he was wrong in everything he said and what he got right.
