It is apparent to them while they do not know him. This group is of two types: a group that says, “We long to see our Beloved,” and a group that says that it is impossible to see our Beloved, but it is not impossible for us to know about him, since seeing is not required for its own sake, but rather it is a way for the seer to gain knowledge of the visible, so in whatever way it happened, it is that and we have known it and who we know about it. Or fear of the sensual torment that comes from it, or the torment of veil, which is the torment of ignorance or adornment, and veiling is not more intense nor stronger than the veil of adornment, because from His ignorance is pleasing to him. It is impossible to ask for what is true in his claim, because it is true for him and not the truth in the matter itself.
