That which follows, or its weakness, is in addition to what happened in himself of that, and the trumpet was blown, causing everyone in the heavens and everyone on earth to be struck by shock, except whomever God wills. This is an additional matter. The matter may have been more terrifying with Zaid than it was with Amr, and with Amr there may have been another matter more terrifying than it was with him. Zaid, and the horrors affect each of them to the point that each of them says about his friend, “I am amazed at so-and-so what he saw,” until it affected him with what appeared to him. How would he be if he knew what I have of this, which he did not raise his head with? Each of them says this, and the third perfect scholar says otherwise. Their words, and He knows the reason that influences each one of them, so He knows from them what they do not know about their souls.
