And when it is said to them, “Believe as the people have believed,” they say, “Should we believe as the fools have believed?” Indeed, it is they who are the fools, but they do not know. That is because when they joined the ranks of the Gentiles, the call came to them to stand at the homes of the martyrs, so they heard the speech in the verse and believed as they did. People believed, so they refrained from taking covenant by covenant Sensation and sexual urges, and that deafened them, blinded their sight, and clouded the night of their ignorance. Then they said, “Do we believe as the fools believed when it was done ?”
