And know that the rank of the perfect human being in the world is the rank of the rational soul of man, for he is the perfect one who is not more perfect than him, and he is Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and the rank of perfection is among the human beings who descend from the degree of this perfection, which is the goal of the world. He is the rank of the spiritual powers of man, and they are the prophets, may God’s prayers. May His peace be upon them, and the status of those who descended in perfection from the level of these people in the world is the status of the strong, sensual part of man, and they are the heirs, may God be pleased with them. And what remains of those who are in the image of man in form are among the animals, so they are in the status of the animal spirit in man, which gives growth and sensation.
