The Qur’an being a light, including the verses it contains that expel misleading doubts, such as the Almighty’s saying, “If there had been in them gods other than God, they would have been corrupted.” And His saying, “I do not love the lost,” and His saying, “So ask them if they can speak,” and His saying, “Then bring it from Morocco,” and His saying “Then they would have sought a way to the Possessor of the Throne,” and He said, “They would have found therein discord.” And his saying, “Then produce a surah like it,” and everything that came in the context of meaning is related to its being light, because light is the one that repels injustice, and by it it is called light, since light is the repulsion .
