The word murid among the investigators among the people of God is applied to the one who is cut off from God, the influencer, next to God, who strives for the love of God and His pleasure. They may also use it to refer to the person who is free from his will. The greatest rank of the murid, according to them and to us, is that he is effective in his will, not without revelation. If he is without revelation, then he is not a disciple, but rather he is knowledgeable. Just as it is not a condition of what is meant by what is meant to be that He has a will regarding what happens in existence through Him and other than Him, that what happens is witnessed by His will, so He wills it before it happens. Rather, that may not be the case, and it is not a condition. Rather, its condition is that if the matter occurs in existence, He is satisfied with it and enjoys its occurrence and does not reject it.
