Then abandoning dignity may be starting from God, which is that He, the Almighty, does not enable this guardian in Himself to do any of that altogether, despite the fact that He is in His view one of the greatest of His servants, and I mean breaking apparent customs, not knowledge of God, and this guardian may be given to him by God Almighty. He has the ability to do that in himself, so he leaves it all to God, so nothing of it appears to him at all. We have seen a group of those who are at this level, as our master Abu Al-Saud bin Al-Shibl, the wisest man of his time, said, and some of those who did not conceal anything about his condition asked him, “Has God given you discretion, which is the origin of karamah?” He said, “Yes, fifteen years ago, and we left it as a matter of circumstance.
