He described the lover as forgetting his luck and the luck of his beloved. Love emptied him, so the beloved forgot him and made him forget himself.

This is the love of love and the divine truth from which it emerged. This truth cannot be transmitted, yes it can be transmitted, except that it is one of the secrets that cannot be broadcast. Whoever reveals it will know it, and it is not permissible for him to reveal it. It is known by it and its verse from the Book of God: They forgot God, and He forgot them, and whoever forgets his image forgets his soul.
