The lover described that his love does not accept increase through the benevolence of the beloved, nor decrease through his cruelty.

This ruling applies only to a lover who loves him for his own sake through the manifestation of his beautiful name in him, so it does not increase in righteousness nor decrease in turning away, unlike the love of benevolence and blessings, for it accepts increase. And the deficiency, which is the defective love. Love said, “If you cut me into pieces, I will only increase love for you.” This means that our love will not diminish for that, and it is the saying of the loving woman. It is said that this is the saying of the famous Rabi’a Al-Adawiya, who raised men in every state and position, and she has separated and divided, may God be pleased with her, and it is the most amazing way of translating from Love

I love you with two loves, love of passion*** and love because you are worthy of that.
