One of the conditions for someone who is described as Sufism is that he be wise and endowed with wisdom, and if he is not, then he has no share in this title, for it is all wisdom, for it is morality, and it requires complete knowledge, a sound mind, presence, and strong mastery of himself so that psychological purposes do not control him, and to make the Qur’an before him the holder of this position. So he looks at what the Truth described himself with, and in what condition he described himself with that with which he described himself, and with whom he applied that description with which he described himself, so the Sufi should adhere to that description in that condition with that type, for the matter of Sufism is an easy matter for the one who takes it on this path and does not devise rulings for himself and deviate from the balance of truth.
