Prophecy is a divine attribute that is confirmed in the sublime heaven by the name of the Hearer, and its ruling is confirmed by the attribute of the command in the commanded supplication and the response of the Truth to His servants in what they ask him about, for it is also from God against the servant, a divine question in the capacity of do and do not do, and we say, “We heard and obeyed,” and He, Glory be to Him, says, “I heard and answered.” For He said, “Answer the call of the supplicant when he supplicates,” and the wording of the command from the servant is in the request, “Forgive us, have mercy on us, pardon us, and grant us victory, provide for us,” and similar to that. And the wording of the prohibition from the servant in the supplication is, “Do not deviate our hearts. Do not make us a temptation for God.” A people of the wrongdoers. Do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection. Do not disgrace me on the day they are resurrected .
