We have an honorable part of certainty that we placed in the Mosque of Certainty, the Mosque of Ibrahim Al-Khalil, during our visit to Lot, peace be upon him. The ignorant person may be certain that he is ignorant, the one who doubts that he has suspected, the doubter that he doubts what he is in, doubts, and every one who has certain certainty is certain about the state he is in, whether he is knowledgeable or not. I said: Where is his honor? We said: His honor is with the honor of the certain, like knowledge, all the same. That is why he used the alif and the lām in his saying, “Until certainty comes to you.” He means a specific certainty. It is not a certainty that can be praised, rather it is a specific certainty .
