Then God has made such examples for people. He leads astray many thereby, and He guides many thereby, and He does not lead astray thereby except the transgressors who depart from the two states and are free from the possession of the two rulings. This is the state of those who are heedless of what they were created for and of what they were favored with. Abu Yazid did not die until he had memorized the Qur’an while it was revealed to him as a taste. And whoever memorizes the Qur’an, prophecy has been inserted between its two sides. And this is the difference between its revelation to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and its revelation to us, for it was revealed in the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, on his heart and in his chest, so his prophecy to him is witnessed, and it is revealed to us between Beside us from behind our veil, for it is ours in the noon, not the apparent.
