A believer does not have a door closed for him, and how can it be closed without him when he passed it and left it behind? It is the believer’s care to close it so that it does not come out on him after what he entered through, so no believer will apostatize after that, for he has no door from which he can exit. So closing the door of repentance is a mercy for the believer and a disaster for the disbeliever.
