The answer is that the right is called a right because it requires it from its servants in terms of their essence and in terms of their being manifestations of what is due, since the right is not sought except by the truth, which is the knowledge that occurs after the essence, and it is what the one who requires it is obligated to give if he asks for it. From it, your Lord has decreed mercy upon Himself, that is, He has made it obligatory, so it has become a right upon Him.
