The answer is what the listener receives, if he hears it through him and not from his Lord, then that is the hadith and nothing else. If he hears it from his Lord, then that is not a hadith. And the meaning of his saying, “He heard it from his Lord ”

God Almighty’s saying, “I was his hearing by which he hears.”
